AMBASSADORS FOR CHANGE

SKYE

STEELE

Thank you for visiting my Ambassador page, and for your interest in StreetLightUSA.

When you donate through the form below, StreetLightUSA is able to share the collective positive impact we have when we point our tax dollars towards crisis intervention and safe housing for girls in our community who have been victimized by sexual abuse and child sex trafficking.

Thank you for supporting me, and most importantly, the girls served by StreetLightUSA.

THANK YOU.

YOU MAKE

LASTING CHANGE,

STRONG FOUNDATIONS

AND BEAUTIFUL FUTURES

POSSIBLE.

Are you familiar with AZ Tax Credits?

Arizona allows residents to choose where their tax dollars are spent by allowing tax payers to donate funds directly to the charitable organization(s) of their choice and then apply a dollar-for-dollar credit towards payment of their state taxes owed.

StreetLightUSA is an Arizona Qualified Foster Care Organization (QFCO), which means you can donate to StreetLightUSA instead of paying that same amount directly to the state.

Single tax filers can contribute to StreetLightUSA and reduce their taxes by up to $500 per tax year, while couples filing joint can contribute up to $1,000.

There is more...

It is not too late to reduce 2017 taxes owed. Donations made between now and April 17, 2018 can be applied to your 2017 or 2018 taxes.

The state allows you to contribute to more than one organization and in more than one tax credit category.  Example, you can contribute to StreetLightUSA, plus a Qualified Charitable Organization (QCO; formerly "working poor"), plus one of several types of education tax credits.  Each Tax Credit category has its own annual giving limits.

Want to donate more than $1,000 (while still taking advantage of tax credits)?

Good news! The state of Arizona allows you to carry-over up to $5,000 to apply to subsequent tax years.

Tax Credits are not deductions, and not directly impacted by upcoming changes to the tax law.

Please talk with your tax advisor for more detail and specifics related to your financial situation.
