PRAISE NOTES

This work is hard because "success" seems so far down the road - in healing, learning and life. Our motivation and inspiration for the day-to-day must come from little (and sometimes big) praises and then resting in the peace found only in knowing Who holds real victory in the end.
Our Volunteer Coordinator, Chelsea, had her first precious baby boy! Congratulations! Welcome to the StreetLightUSA family, Liam!

We survived the 6 weeks Chelsea was out of the office! :)
Thank you, Christine, Maxine, other staff and volunteers for your double duty and patience. We love our volunteers and mentors!

BIG WIN: A precious 11-year-old, who had been with us for 7 months, was taken in by a foster family with 3 additional children. They have redecorated a room of her own and she has reported she is beyond happy to be in a family and home where she feels loved.

An RV plug especially for the Phoenix Children's Hospital Blue Bus was installed in our parking lot, making it easier to "power" this valuable service. (Watch for a PCH Blue Bus story in a future Notes issue.)

BIG WIN: A resident was taken in by a foster family. This child has found a "real home" with the family of the woman who has been mentoring her for most of the past year. We celebrate and share this 16 year old's joy in being part of her new family.

We have welcomed new members to the StreetLightUSA team since the start of 2018. Praise! Welcome Joe, Alyssa, Elizabeth, and Sharon.
